With a devout practice spanning 25+ years, Surya has traveled the globe studying various facets of yoga philosophy and practice. Her teaching is grounded in the structure and alignment of Iyengar Yoga.

She is one of the few to study directly with Pattabhi Jois in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga (in Mysore in 1993 and 1995). Her passion and warmth in yoga is complemented by her knowledge in nutrition combining ayurveda, macrobiotics, and Taoist Five-Element theory.

Surya has studied meditation in Tibetan Buddhism with Tsoknyi Rinpoche . She is a co-founder of Prajna Yoga with her husband Tias Little. Their school is based in Santa Fe New Mexico.

Surya specializes in Women’s Health in yoga, consulting with women on nutrition, therapeutics and daily practice.

Tias Little’s background is steeped in both academic study and physical discipline. He began his yoga training in 1984 in the Iyengar system under the guidance of his mother, Susan Little.

Tias’ first trip to India was in 1989. He lived in Mysore for 6 months, learning the first two series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga with K. Pattabhi Jois. After practicing Ashtanga Yoga for 10 years, Tias immersed himself in the study of the healing arts, including massage, cranial-sacral therapy and bodywork.He teaches yoga with a sensitivity and subtlety informed by his anatomical knowledge and keen sense of touch. His teaching is grounded in the structure and precision of alignment from the Iyengar system, while sharing the spaciousness and compassionate wisdom that stems from the Buddhist tradition.Tias earned an MA in Eastern Philosophy from St. John’s College in 1998. His dharma training has been further informed by teachings from the Zen and Vipassana communities. Tias is currently a student of Tsoknyi Rinpoche’s in the Dzogchen tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.

Zion Hospital in San Francisco. Lorin grew up in southern California with a creative passion that became her driving force in everything she did. At 16 she moved to Hawaii to attend high school and live with her brother Tom. In Hawaii, she was first introduced to yoga, vegetarian cooking and lifestyle, eastern philosophy, and pipeline surfing.

In 1982 she continued her career teaching and practicing manual therapy, energy medicine, massage and bodywork. During this time Lorin developed several programs in bodywork and manual therapy. “Kettle Bell: Exercise – The importance of Burst Training”

After years of snickering at her husband, Keira first picked up a kettlebell in 2005 when he challenged her to stop laughing and start swinging. She couldn’t walk for a week.

She stuck with the challenge initially when she realized that she could get an all-in-one workout in a fraction of the time she spent at the gym. Keira was convinced she found her ideal fitness solution when she lost the 44 pounds she had gained during her second pregnancy in just four months after her daughter was born. She continued to reshape her body in the years that followed, slimming her hips, dropping three more waist sizes, and building lean muscle.

Keira’s personal transformation inspired her to spread the word about the benefits of kettlebells. She will help you articulate your goals and achieve them one by one. Keira’s “tough love” will give you all the encouragement and support you need to transcend what you thought possible.

Mark discovered kettlebells in 2002 and found that they are the quickest, most effective way to train. He began teaching kettlebell conditioning to high school students in 2003. He taught the students that while they might not all be “A” students, their safe application of kettlebells could yield definitive quantitative and qualitative results for specific sports or general fitness and well- being. One student set a personal record and won the state competition in the long jump at the end of his year of kettlebelling. Other students stood straighter, taller, and stronger after achieving significant gains with the bells.
